Bio:

Jamie is a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and Licensed to practice in the state of Texas and Colorado.

She earned her Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She graduated from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing. Jamie has a passion for education and learning.

She is a member of the American Nurses Association, American Psychiatric Nurses Association, Texas Nurse Practitioners Association, and a founding member of the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of North Texas.

She has enjoyed precepting new nurses as well as educating families and patients on different disease processes. Prior to completing her advanced practice degree, she specialized in psychiatric and mental health nursing and has ten years of nursing experience in the inpatient setting working with children to older adults.

Jamie is specially trained to evaluate, treat, and diagnose a variety of psychiatric conditions and always enthusiastic in helping patients and their families reach their goals through evidence based practice.
